Carigiet Cowen have acted for the landlord on the former The Original Factory Shop in Egremont and secured a new lease to national retailer TJ Hughes.
The discount retailer which currently trades from 18 stores nationwide is expanding and Carigiet Cowen are delighted to have secured a Cumbrian location with the firm.
Company director, Ben Blain commented: “Interest for this building was good from the off. It’s a modern warehouse with a large car park and would have worked for various uses. We were delighted when a national retailer like TJ Hughes came along, as TOFS was a very busy shop for the town. So being able to put something back in to the building which is a similar offering is great for the town of Egremont and the surrounding area.”
TJ Hughes are intending to be open mid to late November, just in time for christmas.
