Carigiet Cowen is delighted to announce the successful letting of the historic Moot Hall in Keswick on behalf of our client, bringing new life to one of the Lake District's most recognisable buildings.

The landmark property has become the new home of Twisted Willow, an independent café and delicatessen renowned for its Mediterranean-inspired food and artisan coffee. The business has relocated from its premises in Wigton and is in the process of transforming the three-storey building into a vibrant café, Greek and Cypriot delicatessen, and community hub.

Ben Blain, Director at Carigiet Cowen, commented:

"We are delighted to have secured a new occupier for this prominent and historic building. Twisted Willow's commitment to the community and exciting plans will not only bring a unique food and hospitality offering to Keswick town centre but will also continue the Moot Hall's long-standing role as a place for people to come together. We wish the team every success as custodians of this iconic property and look forward to seeing it thrive once again as a hub for the local community."

The new venture aims to create a welcoming space for residents and visitors alike, hosting workshops, meetings, clubs and community events alongside its food and retail offering.
