FIRST NEW TENANT AT UNIT R4 KINGMOOR PARK CENTRAL

Black Magic Car Detailers Carlisle became the first business to move into newly built Unit R4 on Kingmoor Park Central.

Over a decade ago Steve Fairhurst from Carlisle left his job as a panel beater with Lloyd Motors to create a new life for himself and his girlfriend Victoria in Mackay in Queensland, Australia.

Steve contacted Patricia Winder of Carigiet Cowen on numerous occasions whilst he was still Down-Under and she liaised with his Dad in Carlisle.

Once back on UK soil, Steve viewed Unit R4 and immediately secured a lease with Carigiet Cowen to house his new company Black Magic Car Detailing.

Steve became the first tenant on the multi-million-pound project, consisting of 19 new units aimed at new business start- ups.

Steve’s new business occupies 2,000sqft of the N and R Development on Kingmoor Park Central.

Black Magic Car Detailing offers a range of detailing packages using only high-quality products from a mini detail, to full interior and exterior detailing.

The company are also Carlisle’s only applicator for Ceramic Pro, one of the world’s leading providers of ceramic protection coating for cars.

Commenting on his return Steve said:
“I always wanted to experience the Australian lifestyle. When I first arrived, I drove a dump truck for a local mining company and it was hard work, one month on one month off. I set up and ran my own car business in my months off. Victoria and I are now married and have children and missed our family and friends back in Carlisle. When I spoke to my friends about coming back and setting up a business they all said Kingmoor Park is the place to be so I started with negotiations with Richard Percival and the guys at Carigiet Cowen whilst over there."
