Major Industrial Complex coming to market at Kingstown Industrial Estate

Carigiet Cowen chartered surveyors are about to commence marketing one of the largest warehouse buildings to be brought to the market within the last 10 years, if not longer, in the Carlisle area.
Warehouse 90(pictured) extending to over 106,000 sqft ( 9,850sqm ) forms one of 5 buildings at Kingstown Industrial Estate which will be vacated by Eddie Stobart Ltd later this year as they consolidate within their new purpose built facility at Carlisle Airport.
Some 10,000 sqft ( 929 sqm ) of office space will also becoming available.
Richard Percival, Business Space Agency Director at Carigiet Cowen is dealing with the disposals on behalf of owner Kingmoor Park Properties Ltd says “ Whilst it is undoubtedly a large amount of space to come back to the market at one time in reality there is very little good quality warehouse space available in Carlisle at present. I have so far during the course of 2015 personally dealt with a number of sales and lettings at Kingstown IE, Kingmoor Park, Port Road Business Park and elsewhere in the city totalling over 250,000 sqft of industrial space. This includes the letting of the 70,500 sqft former STL building (pictured) at Kingstown to Stolle for their new European HQ facility.”
“I am already speaking to a number of occupiers who are known to have outstanding requirements in the Carlisle and North Cumbria area and I am confident that we will see new occupiers coming onto the Estate in the coming weeks and months.”
