Ladies fashion retailer Yours Clothing has recently opened in the former Evans Unit on English Street. Acting for landlord St Cuthbert Newcastle Estates Ltd on the 2,302 sq ft retail unit, Carigiet Cowen received various expressions of interest and offers from a number of national retailers looking to secure representation in the town. 70/72 English Street becomes the latest store to be added to the existing list of 70+ locations throughout the UK as well as international presence in the Middle East.

Local ski, mountaineering and outdoor wear specialists, Freetime Climb & Ski have relocated from Market Street to a more prominent town centre location on Castle Street. The firm has moved in to the substantial corner building formerly occupied by Early Learning Centre positioned close to the Cathedral and Crown & Mitre complex. It intends to open from August, just in time for the autumn and winter seasons.
